Coronavirus - Business Update
The information below provides JP Morriss' position in relation to the Coronavirus outbreak and our general business continuity measures in the event of significant disruption as a result of the virus.
Advice being given to Employees
We have already provided comprehensive advice to our employees in relation to hygiene in the workplace and in relation to travelling to an affected country/area. We have emphasized the necessity to keep up to date with government guidelines which are presently being updated every day at 2pm. Given the fluidity of the situation, we will be updating our internal communications to employees as advice evolves based on the daily government updates.
Our operational areas are all equipped with contactless hand sanitisers which employees are being encouraged to use frequently.
We have a comprehensive business continuity plan in place which sets out a co-ordinated approach across our businesses to ensure we maintain our service standards and commitments. We are ready and prepared to activate our business continuity plans if needed and have established a team of key individuals who are meeting regularly to assess the evolving situation.
Our senior operational supports already have the ability to work remotely which provides us with added resilience.
We are actively engaging with our supply chain partners to help them understand the potential impact and to keep any disruption to service at an absolute minimum.
As of today, we have not recorded any specific disruptions within our supplier network which will affect our service levels.
The situation is of course fluid and we will continue to closely and regularly monitor it.
